Getting Crafty
Besides working on big projects, we make time to get our creative juices flowing and craft. This was engrained in us at a very early age watching mom sew and spending summers with our aunts learning how to knit, crochet, spin yarn and many other crafty projects.

Crafting in Community
I may spend plenty of time creating on my own, but I’m at my best when I’m crafting with others. Chris and I tackle all kinds of projects together, and a few times a year I gather with my sisters and niece for creative marathons filled with laughter, ideas, and a whole lot of making. And of course, my crafty kitties—Gabby and Miss Kitty—make sure I’m never creating alone. If there’s a project happening, they’re right in the middle of it.
Creative Curios is my outlet for designing and sharing what I love. Here, I create for print‑on‑demand, offer one‑of‑a‑kind handcrafted sundries, develop patterns, and teach hands‑on crafting classes. It’s a space where curiosity, creativity, and community come together.
Beyond crafting, I also support personal and professional growth through my consulting work. If you’re interested in learning more about my approach to development, leadership, and learning design, you can explore The Curious Pathfinder and JR Consulting & Design for deeper insights and resources.
